We're gearing up for film festival season and Animus is almost ready to hit the wire. The lovely and talented Kati O'Toole is working with us on some original music as Animus undergoes some final, fine-tuning.
Also, we've started a blog to cover all of the art/interests we have that aren't necessarily film-related. In other words, a place to post pretty things.
Happy America's birthday! We're celebrating with our friends at The Invincible Arts Society and their just-released-for-the-web short film, Career Opportunities in Poetry. Check it out!
We want to give a big thank you to everyone who helped make the Spring Film Showcase a huge success. We had a wonderful turnout and a great selection of films.
If you couldn't attend the Spring Film Showcase, never fear - aloneinaforest presents will be holding a Winter Shorts Film Festival in December (details to come).
What's been happening lately? In a word, Animus. That's our new film. We've been the busiest of bees, but you can bet your britches it's been worth it.
Principal photography has wrapped, and we're looking forward to debuting on May 21st at the Wilma. Thanks so much to the YWCA and everyone who attended Missoula's Lunafest last night. We had a fantastic time and really appreciate the support for our film.
